We're delighted to have been able to open The Boot on the 4th July. And we're very excited to welcome our customers back to the pub.
Our unambiguous priority is the safety of our customers and of our staff.
We're confident that we're able to ensure everyone's safety without materially compromising on the quality of the food and drink we serve and the overall 'Boot Experience'.
Naturally, we have made changes to the running of The Boot, in line with the new government covid-19 guidelines for pubs and restaurants. These changes include the way we cook and serve food and drink.

There's quite a lot to take in, so here are a few key points in summary :
We're very lucky to have plenty of outdoor space. We're using this for drinking and dining so that everyone can observe safe social distancing. We've erected a series of sail blinds covering much of the patio and paddock (using real sails!) so our guests will be comfortable come rain or shine.
We've put in place a 'one-way' system to avoid pinch-points.
We've put in place other procedures around ordering and serving food to minimise contact amongst and between guests and staff.
We've re-crafted the menu to provide a great summer flavour and we'll be using a professional outdoor kitchen (for as long as the weather obliges).
We would encourage all diners to book a table in advance. We're taking bookings now for the 4th July onwards. We won't allow the pub to become more crowded than is safe, so unfortunately, we may need to turn guests away.
We've placed lots of signage and notices inside and outside the pub outlining all of the procedures. These will also be explained to you by a member of staff (observing social distancing) when you enter the building. We don't want to make things overly complicated. We just want to keep everyone safe and happy!
